An extended lecture on tree twigs, tweaked

In 2023, Alistair Hudson became the new Artistic Director of Zentrums für Kunst und Medien (ZKM) in Karlsruhe, considered one of the most important and unique cultural institutions in Germany. Previously, he served as the director of MIMA, the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, where he implemented a vision based on the concept of the Useful Museum, an institution dedicated to promoting art as a tool for education and social change. Subsequently, he held the position of director at the Whitworth Art Gallery at the University of Manchester, where he developed a new vision and mission based on the history of these institutions and their social imperative.
